Something will happen tomorrow
It's obvious from
the stand of horses in the field.
It's obvious from
the trot of clouds.
And from
moles's digging the soil.

It's obvious from
the rush of ants.
Something will happen tomorrow.
Maybe a burgeon
Maybe a falling leaf of a tree
Maybe a child.

Even if we can't see the distant so much
It's obvious
from the fly of birds.
Something will happen tomorrow
which is more negligible than
the day after tomorrow,
more important than tomorrow.

Hello Sihirli:
How wonderful to have a Prime Minister, former or otherwise, who can write such poetic words. This is a delightful poem which conveys so many very different thoughts and ideas.

Welcome Jane and Lance! How nice to read your comment here again!..
Yes, I agree that it's wonderful to have a poet prime minister:)
Bülent Ecevit, being a leftist, served four times as a prime minister in Turkish political history. He died in 2006 by leaving his poems behind.

A poem of hope, Sihirli, of staying alive for what may yet happen that today can't tell us...

Welcome Faisal!.. Yes, a poem of hope... And such kind of poems are beautiful as they transfuse us hope. After all, we need hope for going on living.

Lovely poem to accompany this shot of the swarming birds. They are so fascinating to watch - truly spurns the imagination.

Thanks ksdoolittle... Yes, I've chosen this picture by thinking that it suits the poem.
